It's only zoological

Sophia and I were in the area so I thought we would take advantage of the day and go to the zoo. I didn't realize it was field trip day so pretty much all the school districts were there running and yelling and shoving.  Naturally, the sea lion show filled to capacity, and we didn't get to partake. It was still a jolly good time for an impromptu visit. We did see Calliope, the non-sea lioness, getting trained through some heavy duty grates. I am especially fond of that particular lioness since Sophia's middle name is Calliope. Ah, the sappiness of me. (P.S. I hope someone caught the Spock reference in the title. Oh look, my geek is showing).
