Prickly Poppies

I finally captured the elusive prickly poppy! I had been wanting to take a good photograph of this beautiful desert flower for a long while, but either I didn't have a camera, it was windy (not conducive to taking clean flower photos), or I was in a hurry somewhere. Huzzah, she is here now. What a beauty!

I would like to take additional photographs in more favorable light, but that will probably take me another two years if I don't get in gear!
